- To repair a punctured, encased PEX tube:
- Cut into the slab at the location of the leak
- Isolate the affected section of the system
- Install a non-detachable sleeve (slip or press-fit) and cover it with adhesive insulating tape in order to avoid direct contact with the concrete cover
- Fill the hole in the slab.
- Remember to note the location of the repair on a diagram.
