What is multilayer tubing made of?

COMAP multilayer tubing is made of five layers, including one internal and one external layer in PEX and an aluminium core. Thicker, easier to work with and, in one respect, higher-quality than PEX, it brings together all the advantages of plastic and metal solutions.

The heavy thickness of the aluminium in COMAP Multiskin tubing (minimum of 0.4 mm) helps it stay straight and helps keep its bends in place, and it contributes to total oxygen impermeability.
