Biofloor Dry systems

Biofloor Dry systems

The Biofloor Dry system, although suitable for new constructions, is used especially in renovation projects, because it is very thin. The dry system tiles can actually be laid directly on the existing floor. Metal profiles are then added in the slots provided. This provides optimal heat circulation as well as excellent load distribution. Using the 180° bend piece, it can be laid by forming twists and turns, spirals or diagonals. A moisture barrier should be placed above the tile, onto which the finished floor covering can be laid. It is also possible to first lay a Fermacell® plate to improve stability. Biofloor Dry is a fast clean system, not requiring any drying time to be considered. As soon as assembly is completed, the floor is ready to bear loads. This system is also ideal for installing wall heating.

1. Structural concrete
2. Sealing screed with service conduits
3. Insulation as per standard (new construction)
4. Dry system tile (2.5 cm) with circulation pieces
5. Multiskin, BetaSKIN pipe 14 x 2 mm
6. Moisture barrier or gridded film
7. Edge insulation
8. Heating screed (conventional or anhydrite) or flooring (for renovation)
9. Flooring (strip wood, tiles, polyconcrete, etc.) for new constructions

Benefits of Biofloor Dry systems

  • The Biofloor Dry system can be applied in all situations
  • It is the ideal solution for installing underfloor or wall heating in renovation projects
  • This dry floor-finishing method is an ideal solution for situations constrained by small heights available to install the floor (possible solution from 3 cm, excluding finished flooring)
  • The underfloor heating pipe no longer has to be covered by a screed because the grooved insulation tiles are fitted with aluminium profiles designed to allow heat to circulate
  • The system is easy to fit, using lightweight components
